In the beginning fresh fruit production was mainly peach and apple trees.
In the 1980s, the production of green kiwis was introduced at the foot of Monviso, the King of Stone, where the Revello hill slopes down and gives way to the plain.
The view sweeps from the town's suggestive tile roofs to the expanses of fruits, accompanied by the Po as it recedes towards Turin.
